The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia announces two important events that will take place in Protaras, strengthening the role of the area as a cultural, entertainment and sports destination.
Moonwalk 2026 – Sunset Edition | MoonWalk

Protaras welcomes Moonwalk 2026 – Sunset Edition, a unique musical experience that combines music, the sea, the sunset and the full moon.
More than 120 artists on over 30 music stages will participate in a route of approximately 6 kilometers along the coastline, from the Chapel of Agios Nikolaos to Pernera.
Admission is free, while the public will also have the opportunity to enjoy food, drinks and observation of the full moon through telescopes.
1st Cablenet Famagusta Run | Protaras 30km Race | Famagusta Run
Sunday, October 11, 2026.
Two weeks later, Protaras hosts the 1st Cablenet Famagusta Run, starting and finishing at Fig Tree Bay.
The event includes races of different distances, offering the opportunity for both experienced runners and the general public to participate. The routes highlight the unique coastline and natural landscape of Protaras.
An autumn full of action
The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia actively supports important events that enrich the tourism product, support the local economy and contribute to the establishment of Protaras as a destination throughout the year.
