An excellent fairy tale, written by Jeff Brumbeau, adapted by Petros Konomou. A show made with love, not only for young children but also for all those who feel like children. Filled with messages given through humor, song, dance, colors, energy and liveliness of the performers. A show that should not be missed.
The Municipality of Deryneia invites you to the children's theatrical performance "The Journey of the Quilt" on Tuesday 31/5 at 19:30, at the Municipal Amphitheater of Deryneia.

A few words about the project:
A beautiful and tender story, which speaks of the value of generosity and the beauty of the offer. A girl who lives locked in the walls of her rich city, feels her life flow without any meaning. So she decides to leave her rich life so far, as well as her two "weird" funny friends and travel to other places, in order to find what will make her happy. Surprised then, she finds that, outside the walls of her city, there are people whose poverty makes them unhappy. The girl then tries to find ways to help them and so she decides to warm them up with her separate, colorful and warm quilts. A journey full of adventure, emotions and a lot of humor, which makes her understand and discover the deeper meaning of kindness and love, which in the end leads her to her own peace, tranquility but also to absolute happiness!
The theatrical adaptation of the tale is by Petros Konomos. The original music was written by Andreas Michalopoulos and Stavros Makris, while the movement and choreography have been undertaken by Antigoni Tasouri. The costumes were designed by Konstantina Andreou and the set by Dimitris Dimitriou. The actors take part in the show: Petros Konomou, Efi Charalambous, Konstantinos Dimitriou, Marina Dimitriou and Andri Koukou. The premiere was given on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at the Mascarini Theater in Latsia. Regular performances every Sunday at 10:30.
