The lecture entitled "Autism: From Diagnosis to Support" concludes the "Open Lifelong Learning for All" program for the month of March, which is implemented within the framework of the Open School of the Municipality of Ayia Napa.
The lecture has particular social significance, as it is dedicated to understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder and highlighting the importance of early diagnosis and modern interventions. During its duration, practical ways of supporting children and their families will be presented, while the decisive role of family, education and society in shaping a framework of acceptance and meaningful inclusion will be emphasized.
The lecture will take place on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at the Achna Forest Primary School "Fotis Pittas" and on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at the "Georgos Seferis" Cultural Center, starting at 18:30.
The speakers will be Maria Panteli, Clinical Psychologist, and Maria Andreou, Social Worker of the "Next to the Family" program of the Famagusta Autism Support Association.
