The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia proceeded with the illumination of the sculpture "Sytzia of Protaras" with the aim of highlighting the new reference point created in the area during the night.
The sculpture is the work of the well-known Cypriot sculptor Philippos Giapanis and was placed on the beach of the same name in Protaras, and is already a magnet for local and foreign visitors.
