The myths, legends and traditions of Cyprus continue their journey and make a stop in Ayia Napa, through the exhibition "The Myths of Cyprus", produced by the Press and Information Office.
The exhibition is hosted by the "Agios Epiphanios" Cultural Academy at the Museum Spaces of the Medieval Monastery of Ayia Napa and invites young and old to get to know Cyprus through its mythology, traditions and collective cultural memory.
Through a contemporary and experiential exhibition experience, visitors travel to well-known and lesser-known corners of our island, encountering mythical figures and strange creatures, discovering magical places that still exist from the narratives of our people. Stories passed down from generation to generation take on a new form and remind us that myths do not only belong to the past.
The exhibition is a continuation of the homonymous audiovisual series of the Press and Information Office and utilizes modern expressive and technological means, transporting the visitor to a unique world.
The exhibition will remain open to the public until November 8, 2026, with free admission.
