The family of the previously missing Theodoros Adamos Koumis (Vaklas) and the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, inform that the funeral of the hero, who fell during the Turkish invasion of 1974, will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., at the Metropolitan Church of Agios Georgios of Paralimni.
The Government will be represented by the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Mr. Costas Koumis.
After the burial of the remains at the Paralimni Municipal Cemetery, a memorial service will follow, followed by coffee at the Paralimni - Deryneia Town Hall.
