The 3rd Cypriot Carrot Festival is being organized today, Saturday, July 8, by the Lioterio Community. The Festival will take place at the "Achyron" Community Stadium in Liopetriou and the entrance fee will be €5. Visitors will be able to try traditional and new carrot recipes as created by volunteers together with local chefs.
The artistic program will be enriched by Zafeiris Melas, Giorgos Tsalikis and Kings and is supported by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, while the communication sponsor is Famagusta.News.
Acclaimed Chef Andreas Paskouis took care of the various recipes made with the basic ingredient carrot that the guests will have the opportunity to enjoy.
Organized groups and associations will sell various carrot preparations such as, sweet and jam, carrot cakes (individual and family), donuts with cream and carrot jam, croissants with carrot jam, donuts, ice cream, juices, margarita and carrot cocktail. At the same time, there will be kiosks with souvlaki, kleftiko, hot dogs with coslaw salad, pickled carrots, fried carrots with eggs and various drinks.
