Among the actions organized by "Agia Napa 2030", a candidate for "European Capital of Culture in 2030", within the framework of the European Dimension Festival is included the Master Class on "The European Union through the eyes of George Aresti" which will be given on Thursday 05 December 2024, at the Cultural Center of Ayia Napa "Giorgos Seferis", at 19:00 internationally renowned jurist, former judge of the Supreme Court of Cyprus and former judge of the Court of Justice of the European Union, Mr. George Arestis.
Mr. Arestis, who was recently appointed by the President of the Republic as an independent expert adviser on Ethics, will share with the audience his experiences and memories from his ten-year tenure at the Union court, also referring to his views on the importance of Cyprus's entry into the EU, but also to broader issues related to the path of the union towards its completion.
