1. Never wear more than 3-4 large accessories.
You can add large accessories to your look, but they should never be more than 3 or 4. And of course they should match each other in color, style and material.
2. Do not hide a large collar under a large scarf.
You do not need to wear a large scarf if your coat already has a large collar. Instead you can put a discreet scarf through the coat.
3. Wear the entire jewelry set only if they are small in size.
Some argue that wearing earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets in an appearance may not be very tasteful. This is partly true. If the jewelry is small in size they look elegant.
4. Forget the rule that says bag and shoe should be the same color.
If the color of your shoes is very bright, then it is better to choose a bag in a neutral color to balance your look.
5. Choose bright color of clothes or striking jewelry.
For a successful look we must emphasize either the makeup, or the clothes or the jewelry, but not the 3 at the same time. Combining a blouse with a large and bulky collar with large striking earrings will create an overloaded result.
6. Do not wear a watch if you are wearing an evening dress.
Wristwatches perfectly match everyday and simple looks. On the contrary, it is almost impossible to visually match a watch with an evening dress.
7. Big rings do not go to everyone.
Large rings do not go on short fingers, while small ones make them look longer and thinner.
8. Gloves should be the same color as another part of the look.
Gloves should match harmoniously with at least one other part of your look, such as the belt, shoes or lipstick.
9. Avoid wearing black shoes with pastel shades.
Pastel shades on clothes go best with light tones on shoes.
10. Combine intricate and striking jewelry with neutral clothing colors.
If you wear accessories with lots of yarn or beads, opt for clothes in neutral colors for a balanced look.
