On the last Sunday of October, like every year, winter time comes into effect.
Specifically, at 04:00 in the morning of Sunday, October 26, 2025, the clock hands should be moved back one hour, that is, to 03:00.
The time change is applied in all member states of the European Union, within the framework of the common European policy for energy saving.
In a related announcement, the Ministry of Transport states:
"We remind you that, on Sunday, October 26, 2025, the application of the summer time measure ends, in accordance with Directive 2000/84 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the EU. The clock hands must be moved back one hour, that is, from 04:00 a.m. to 03:00 a.m."
