The Department of Meteorology issued a yellow warning for today, Tuesday (29/09).

According to the warning, the maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 40 degrees inland and around 33 degrees in the higher mountains.

The warning will be in effect from 13:00 noon until 16:00 in the afternoon.

According to the Meteorological Service, the hot gas mass, which affects the area, is gradually declining from Wednesday. Light dust can be observed in the atmosphere, mainly until Wednesday morning.

Today the weather will be mostly clear. The winds will blow in the morning mainly northeast to southeast patients, 3 beauforts, to become in the afternoon southwest to northwest, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 beauforts and gradually strong in places, 5 beauforts. The temperature will drop significantly on Wednesday, inland, in the mountains, on the west and north coasts, but a slight drop on the rest of the coast, to fluctuate slightly above the average climatic values. It will then fall slightly further inland, in the mountains, on the west and north coasts, but fall more on the rest of the coast, to fluctuate close to the average climatic values.
