Extremely high temperatures
A new orange warning for extremely high temperatures with effect from 11:00 today, Thursday (30/7) until 17:00 on the same day, was issued by the Meteorological Department.
According to an announcement by the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature is expected to rise on Wednesday around 41 degrees Celsius inland and around 35 degrees Celsius in the higher mountains.
The Department calls on the public to be prepared, to listen and to act in accordance with the instructions of the competent authorities and notes that "high temperatures will lead to health problems among the vulnerable population such as. the elderly and young children ".
Seasonal low pressure and hot gas mass affect the area.
Today the weather will be mostly clear. The winds will initially blow variable patients, 3 beauforts, to become southwesterly to northwesterly to moderate, 3 to 4 beauforts by the afternoon.
