Olympiakos overturned the defeat in Karaiskaki and with goals from Cisse (53 ′) and El Arabi (119 ′) passed to the "16" of the Europa League.
His name is Thrylos and something like that confirms it. The 0-1 defeat in Piraeus, a week ago, made everyone assume that Olympiacos would go to London with the aim of an honorable exclusion. Pedro Martins, however, said that he believes in qualifying and it turned out that he was not crazy, as his team made a very big appearance at the Emirates and was justified a minute before the end of extra time, getting one of the most important qualifiers in its history.
The match started as expected. With Arsenal, that is, being furious looking for the quick goal, which would make her life easier for the sequel. Olympiakos, however, was as serious as it should be and after the 15th minute it gradually managed to bring the rhythm of the game where it wanted.
Pedro Martins' team was in danger in the 20th minute, in a very fast counterattack of the Londoners, but Ba stopped - albeit with a foul - Pepe and then things improved a lot. The red and whites did not leave empty spaces, did not make mistakes that would give counterattacks to the hosts and after 30 σε threatened.
