A great appearance, but in the end it wasn't enough for Kalia Antoniou. Our swimming champion posted a time of 54.75 in the qualifying phase and placed 6th in her qualifying heat.
With the time she recorded, Kalia Antoniou ranked 18th overall and was out of the semi-finals for two places as the 16th - and last - athlete to qualify recorded a time of 54.16.
However, it is noted that they are in the two substitutes.
