PARALIMNI: ENP - West Ham met for the first time (PICTURES)

A West Ham delegation for the first time in Cyprus had the opportunity to be welcomed by the Paralimni Youth Association.

Today we had the honor and pleasure of having representatives of the official team of West Ham United in our Stadium.

Together with the general leader Mark Noble, with whom the board of our association now maintains excellent ties... members of the WEST HAM staff attended the venue where, with a large photographic material and various interviews, they set the goal of creating a documentary where will illustrate the vast history connecting the 2 groups.

The great protagonists of this glorious history, the successors of the Parneros brothers attended the event where they recounted in detail the story of 1971 which was the occasion for the creation of our own glorious maroon history.

The veterans of that era were also present, where they themselves spoke about their own experiences and the feeling they felt when they first wore the crimson shirt.

The president of the football department of our team, Mr. Kyriakos Tikkis, made statements both to the staff of WEST HAM and also of the Alpha Cyprus station who attended the venue, who emphasized today's historic meeting and set the bar high in terms of a future collaboration of the 2 groups.

Cypriot fans of WEST HAM United and ENP attended the venue where they mentioned their own history and their connection with the English team.

Various commemorative gifts were given to the people of WEST HAM on behalf of all the sections of ENOSIS and the Fans' Association.

Gifts of great importance were also given by the WEST HAM team to our team.

Of course, a special gift was the 2 replicas of appearances from 1971 which belong to the football player Bobby Moore!

We have said many times that something is changing in the UNION... the goals that have been set are being implemented to a large extent and it is now clear that we can hope and dream!

Let us hope that this meeting will give the trigger for the new big page of our history.
