Since 2006, when I took my first steps with the first team of ONISILLOS SOTIRAS in the Second Division, I began a journey full of passion, challenges, sacrifices and, above all, unlimited love for the sport.
At the PARALIMNI YOUTH ASSOCIATION I got my first taste of Division 1. As a soldier at the time, I ran to catch up on training, fighting every day to stand up and continue chasing my dream, without giving up.
OMONIA was a life station. There I matured as a footballer, I honored the captain's armband with all my being and I experienced unforgettable moments. Championship, cups, Super Cup... but above all, the unique connection with the Omonia world is something I will carry forever in my heart. Your love for number 77 is something I will keep forever inside me. It was not just a team for me, it was a family.
In SION, Switzerland, I won the Cup and experienced football in a new culture, enriching my experiences and performances.
ANORTHOSI FAMAKHOSTOU embraced me and believed in Dimitris as a footballer and as a person. It was an honor for me to wear the armband of this historic team. Together, after 13 years, we won the Cup and competed in the groups of European competitions. I felt the love and respect of a world that knows how to stand by its people and the friends of the team embraced me and showed me this from the first moment. I played proudly with the refugee jersey, always having occupied Famagusta and our Varosha in my thoughts. My last football stop was the refugee club of ETHNIKO AHNA, the final stop of a long journey. I had the honor of wearing the jersey of historic clubs. Each of these teams left its own imprint on me. I honored and respected every badge I served in, always giving 100% for the team, its people, and its world.
