BMW demonstrates power with an original R1200 GS, which is driven alone and in fact, without any special "robot" in the saddle but completely autonomous! The project is called ConnectedRide and was presented at the BMW Motorrad Techday 2018 in France a week ago.
It is impressive, as we see in the video, for a motorcycle to start, stop, turn and balance normally with nothing on the saddle, while the highlight is at the end, which takes out the side stand by itself and parks!
BMW says it has taken endless hours in the lab to develop this technology but it is clearly a way to show what they can do, as they do not intend to put it into production.
