Chrysanthos Tsouroulis made an intervention on the show Mesimeri and Kati on the occasion of the issue of the deadly TAKATA airbags. Present in the studio was Maria Loui, mother of the deceased young Kyriakos Oxinos who died in a traffic accident due to Takata airbags as well as a second case under investigation in the province of Famagusta

"The protection of human life is non-negotiable", said Chrysanthos Tsouroulis in introduction.

Then citing personal research, he revealed that there are companies that received information from the parent companies (including the manufacturer of specific cars) about TAKATA airbags since 1992.

"Since then there has been information that these airbags must be withdrawn immediately. Some importers responded and called for changes. Even today there are companies that act as if nothing happened, that no lives were lost. There are companies that received money from the manufacturers through a recall and did not call the car owners for changes of the specific airbags,” he said.
