The Municipality of Ayia Napa, (Ayia Napa Municipal District) in collaboration with the Parents and Guardians Associations of the Public and Community Kindergartens of Ayia Napa and the Ayia Napa Primary School - "Antonis Tsokkos", is organizing on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 18:00, at Agios Georgios Square in the Ayia Napa Harbor, the 31st Children's Festival and the 17th Summer Children's Festival, on the occasion of Universal Children's Day, which is celebrated every year on June 1.
The program prepared by the Municipality is rich this year, including music and dance performances, a multitude of creative activities for all children, various exhibitions and many surprises.
Specifically, the artistic program on stage will begin at 18:15 with songs from the Niki & Christos Karaiskos Music School, followed by impressive dance performances from the departments of the Ayia Napa Open School, the Dance Schools "Vision Dance Studio", "Taxi Crew", "Paso Libre" and will culminate with the performance "Alice in Wonderland" by the "Evolution Dance School" team.
Young and old will have the opportunity to participate in fun workshops such as the Bells of Love from the Church of Panagia and the Catechism School, to create windmills and travel to the world of science through fun experiments and creative activities. Children will also weave their own star, become potters by creating their own clay pot, become bakers by making pastries with dough, and on the merry-go-round of colorful prints they will print and paint with the colors of the heart.
They will also decorate their own pumpkin, do face painting, and as Sea Melodists, they will make their own magical ornament with sounds of the seabed, they will do balloon construction, a Photobooth, play with inflatables and have fun with the Mascots.
Kiosks with savory and sweet treats from the Parents and Guardians Associations of Kindergartens and Elementary Schools will operate in the area, with the proceeds going to the needs of the Municipality's schools.
All children will be offered free ice cream from the Pancyprian Organization of Five-Member Families P.O.P.O. and free water from bottled water representatives Manolis and Andreas Manolis.
The event is part of the environmental events of the Municipality of Ayia Napa for the acquisition of the Blue Flag on its beaches.
