The Municipality of Deryneia organizes the 4th Folklore Festival "The Jiverti of Deryneia" tomorrow Friday, June 7, 2019, which this year will be rich in activities with the aroma of Cypriot tradition!
The Festival will take place at the Folklore Museum, the Open Air Museum of Folk Art of Traditional Professions and in the square of the Byzantine Church of Panagia.
The Open Air Museum of the Municipality of Deryneia hosts tools and objects of traditional professions and occupations such as commode, parperis, mason, farmer / weaver, weaver, fisherman, tailor, pelican, skarparis while the Folklore Museum houses the traditional equipment of Derynos household, agricultural and livestock occupations of the people of the time.
Along with the taverns of the area, there will be kiosks in the Festival area that will have traditional dishes, handmade constructions and other creations.
