That is why, apart from the entertaining part that includes songs by Mikis Theodorakis, Stavros Xarchakos, Manos Loizos, Stavros Kougioumetzis, Vassilis Tsitsanis, etc., songs about the History and the Games of our long-suffering island will be heard: songs by Cypriot composers such as George Kotsonis, Marios Tokas, Michalis Christodoulidis, poets Theodosi Pieridis, Michalis Pasiardis and others. because we must also promote the work of Cypriot artists. This part of the program will refer to songs about the pain of the refugees, the memory of our occupied territories and the struggle for the liberation and reunification of our Homeland. Thus, in parallel with the upgraded entertainment and fun, the fighting spirit of the Akrites is strengthened and the desire to return is strengthened. The musical performance will be interspersed with the recitation of poems by the distinguished actor Neophytos Neophytou, as well as with small connecting texts and comments on some songs.
