The Charity Concert called "Celebrate The Joy Of Giving" will be held at Metropolis Mall, Larnaca in which Singer Christos Televantos and Saxophonist Nikos Nikolaou will star with the ultimate goal of financial assistance to the Jason Foundation in addition to celebrating Christmas on Sunday, 8 December 2024 at 6-7:30 p.m.
The one and a half hour artistic presentation program includes the most loved Christmas songs, English and Greek in a wide repertoire such as Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Josh Groban, George Michael, Elvis Presley and others with many surprises.
On Sunday we all hug each other, dance wildly to the most delightful tunes and feel the joy of helping our fellow human beings who are in real need.
A few words about the Jason Foundation
After years of effort and the voluntary work of many people, in September 2018 the Center for Disabled Adults "Iasoneio-Chromatas Zois" opened in Larnaca.
The Center accommodates Persons with Special Disabilities (PWDs) over twenty-one (21) years of age, who, due to serious mental, motor and emotional problems, are not accepted for inclusion in any other existing PWD service structure in Larnaca.
Various educational, therapeutic and recreational programs are implemented in Iasonio, which aim both at the well-being and at strengthening the self-confidence and independence of the people with disabilities served, in order to enable them to function as independently as possible, in the wider community where they live.
The main objective of the Board of Directors is to ensure the continuation of the smooth operation of the Center and, in the short and long term, to enable the continued employment of scientific staff, the improvement of the interior and the surrounding area of the Center as well as the purchase of additional special equipment, to address the specialized needs of each PWD individually.
