Andreas Dimitriou

Andreas Dimitriou obtained a Degree in Psychology (2002-2006) and a Master of School / Educational Psychology (2006-2009) from the Department of Psychology of the University of Cyprus with a grade of Excellent.

During his studies he was awarded prizes and scholarships both by the Senate of the University of Cyprus and by the State Scholarship Foundation of the Republic of Cyprus.

He has published scientific papers in international and Greek scientific journals and participates in professional conferences in Greece and internationally.

He is a regular member of the Cyprus Association of Psychologists. He is also a member and volunteer in local and international organizations and associations related to the mental health of children and adolescents.

In terms of his professional experience, he worked as a psychologist in the Social Welfare Services and in the Cyprus Youth Organization. Today he works in the Educational Psychology Service of the Ministry of Education and Culture and at the same time maintains his own office since 2010 as an educational psychologist in the province of Larnaca, with a license granted by the Psychologists Registration Council, number 128.

It also teaches psychology courses at privately recognized higher education schools and implements primary and secondary prevention programs in public schools for students, parents, teachers and community organizations in the province of Larnaca and Famagusta.
