Traditional Savior Festival with Vasiliki Hatziadamou and Petros Kouloumis

The Culture Committee of the Municipality of Sotira organizes this year as well, the Tuesday 2 July 2019 the 8th Traditional Festival of the Municipality of Sotira.

An event that aims to highlight the traditional element of our place through various artistic events, dance, song, gastronomy and exhibition of Cypriot professions. A Festival that has become an institution in the cultural events of the province of Famagusta and our country in general.

The Festival will take place on Tuesday, July 2 at 19:00 in the courtyard of the Holy Temple of the Transfiguration of the Savior, and will include a traditional feast with two of the most important voices of the Cypriot music tradition, Vasiliki Hatziadamou and Petros Kouloumi, accompanied by renowned musicians as well as traditional dance groups of the province of Famagusta.

The program will also include a presentation of tsiattists by folk poets, an exhibition of traditional professions, and a tasting of traditional dishes.
