The Municipality of Paralimni with all splendor and formality organizes again this year the celebrations for the National Anniversaries of March 25, 1821 and April 1, 1955.
■ On Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. A candlelight vigil will be held in which the 21st Naval Scout System, the 291st Air Scout System, the Catechism of Agios Georgios, the Catechism of Agios Dimitrios and the Catechism of Agia Barbara will take part.
Then, at 7:30 p.m. The Pandemic Celebration of National Anniversaries will take place in the event hall of the Municipal Palace of Paralimni. The celebration will include an artistic event entitled "Flame of Freedom to the Heroes Earth" from Paralimni High School. The speaker of the event will be the Philologist of Paralimni High School Mrs. Maria Mylona.
■ On Friday, March 25, 2022 at 6:00 a.m. will be held Eothic Parade in which will participate the 21st System of Marine Scouts, the 291st System of Air Scouts, the Catechism of Agios Georgios, the Catechism of Agios Dimitrios and the Catechism of Agia Barbara.
At 7:00 a.m. The raising of the flag will take place at the City Hall of Paralimni with the participation of a procession of the 7th Motorized Infantry Brigade and the Symphony Band "Harmony" of the Municipality of Paralimni.
At 9:30 a.m. The Solemn Divine Doxology will be performed at the Metropolitan Church of Agios Georgios Paralimni, officiated by the Most Venerable Metropolitan of Constantia-Famagusta Mr. Vassilios. The Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Mr. Giannis Karousos, will be present on behalf of the Government. The solemnity of the day will be announced by the Chairman of the Educational Service Committee, Mr. Panagiotis Antoniou.
Then wreaths will be laid at the Monument of Heroes.
At 11:00 p.m. The student and military parade of Famagusta will take place along the 1st of April Avenue with the participation of the banners of the Municipalities and Communities of the province of Famagusta, drawers and reserve members of the National Guard, public and private schools of primary, secondary and technical education, guides, catechism meetings as well as the Symphony Band "Harmony" of the Municipality of Paralimni. The greeting will be received by the Most Venerable Metropolitan of Constantia-Famagusta, the Minister, MPs, Mayors, Commune Mayors and Municipal Councilors of the province of Famagusta, the Military Commander, the Police Director, the Chief of Staff of Styrmos and Pyrmos. Paralimni High School coordinates and organizes the parade.
At 6:00 p.m. The Flag Submission will take place at the City Hall of Paralimni.

■ On Friday, April 1, 2022 at 6:30 a.m. will be held Eothic Parade in which will participate the 21st System of Marine Scouts, the 291st System of Air Scouts, the Catechism of Agios Georgios, the Catechism of Agios Dimitrios and the Catechism of Agia Barbara.

Then wreaths will be laid at the EOKA Monument 1955-59.
