The Province of Famagusta wore its festive clothes to the festive event of the program "Sports for All", which took place with great success at the 16rd Elementary School of Sotiras on Tuesday, April 2019, XNUMX.
The 250 people (children, men, women, seniors) who participated, gave a special note to the whole event and were applauded by the attendees. The dance, the movement and the harmony, dominated the program, since the excellent work done in AGO by all the actors, especially by the guiding coaches, became apparent.
On behalf of KOA, the event was welcomed by the member of the Board of Directors Panagiotis Trisokkas, who stressed the following: “Today my feelings are special, since I am proud to see the rich live material of AGO Famagusta. AGO managed to embrace all categories of people in our country, without any discrimination. Congratulations to the organizers and participants. Today's event is also part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of KOA ".
The attendees were welcomed by the head of the program Efi Mouzourou - Penidaex, who after thanking the major sponsor of the Program OPAP CYPRUS LTD, said the following: centers, workplaces, nursing homes, institutions. Top athletes and even our world champions sprang up through the sports programs of AGO. We also honor all the Boards of Directors of KOA who, with the policies that followed, stood as helpers and strengthened in every way this massive program ".
Mayor Sotiras Georgios Ttakas, after congratulating the AGO and the KOA for the event, stressed that the program, which has been operating successfully all these years, gave life to free Famagusta. He also stated that the Local Government will continue to support the AGO program and will be a partner and helper in the effort to spread it.
The event was honored by the presence of the President of KOA Andreas Michailidis, who thanked and congratulated the people for his presence. He especially thanked the parents who push their children to engage in sports and stressed that the AGO always remains the banner of the COM.
The event was also attended by the Secretary of the Council of Ministers Theodosis Tsiolas, the member of the Board. Andronikos Andronikou, Municipal Councilors, School Superintendents, representatives of Federations and other state and sports actors.
