On Sunday, May 5, 2019, the ROMIOSYNI Cultural Association held the artistic event "Easter of Romanism" at the Gracepoint Hall in Islington, London. The organizer was the community of the parish of Saints Anthony the Great and John the Baptist in Holloway, which aimed to strengthen the safe fencing works of the Temple.
The event was held under the auspices of the Holy Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain with the presence and greeting of Theophilestatos Chorepiscopos Tropaios Mr. Athanasios, the Mayor of Islington Councillor Dave Poyser, the President of the All-Greek Marios Minaidis.
The program included songs from various regions and eras of Hellenism, texts, screenings and Cypriot dances. Both the artistic program and the participation and response of the people gave a character of a festival and intense Greekness in the heart of London. In general, the Cultural Association ROMIOSYNI honored not only its headquarters in the Free Province of Famagusta but also the whole of Cyprus, since as mentioned by people related to the artistic events and the commons of the parish, it may be the only time that such a large ensemble goes to London to present an event of this level and content.
