The Culture Committee of the Municipality of Sotira announces the beginning of the Christmas Events with the Illumination of the Christmas Decoration that will take place on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 4:00 pm in the courtyard of Sotiras City Hall.
The event will be attended by Organized Ensembles of the Municipality of Sotiras with kiosks which will have for sale various Christmas delicacies and drinks, such as mulled wine, chocolates, crepes, waffles, donuts, cotton candy, popcorn, marshmallows, sweets and Christmas crafts.
All proceeds will be donated to the Organized Ensembles and Parents' Associations of the Schools.
Our little friends will have the opportunity to have fun with children's mascots, inflatables and other special toys while the place will be visited by the elf of Santa Claus, who will distribute gifts to children.
At 18:00 the signal will be given by the Mayor Sotiras for illumination of the Christmas decoration with sparklers.
The music program is embellished by the Conservatory of Classical and Modern Studies Florence Savva, the Music School of Vassilis Efstathiou and Maria Kofou, the Municipal Choir Sotiras, the Symphony Band "Harmony" of the Municipality of Paralimni, while the dance program will be undertaken by the students .
The event will end with music program by Theodoulos Lambrou.
At the end of the event will be lottery with a big prize an Apple Watch Series 3 worth € 250. Lottery Value € 3.

** For entry it is necessary to present a SafePass (vaccination card / release certificate / rapid test valid for 72 hours for persons aged 12-17 years & 48 hours for persons aged 18 years and over).
