He found his lost brother after 28 whole years, a Briton, going to the bus stop.
In particular, fate played a strange game on a 36-year-old Briton, who found out that his brother, who had been seeing for almost 30 years, was the homeless man to whom he offered a cigarette.
Roy Aspinal last saw his brother, Billy White, 28 years ago when he was a newborn. "I was walking to the bus stop and I saw him sitting on a wall. His face seemed familiar to me. I thought I had to see who it was. He had with him a small bag and a sleeping bag. I approached him, offered him a cigarette and we started talking. At one point I asked him if his name was William. He answered yes, but they call him Billy. I cried realizing what was happening to both of us. I just told him to take his things and come with me. "
The two brothers were separated due to family quarrels, with Roy being placed in the care of his aunt, while Billy remained with their mother, until he entered an institution at the age of 10. Now the two men are living together, trying to make up for the 28 years they lost.
"I came across this place by chance. I had just stopped before I started looking for a place to lie down. He came and asked me many questions about my mother and sister. He suddenly told me that I was his brother. I did not believe him at first. It was madness. I knew they had an older brother but I knew nothing about him. "I am shocked by all this," Billy said.
Saying "I have a brother" is something so foreign to me, but it brings joy, not sorrow. "He will never get rid of me!", Roy concluded.
