The shortest woman ever…

She was Pauline Masters and was born in the Netherlands in 1876. She was only 58 cm tall and is considered the shortest woman in history.

The unfortunate girl when she was 9 years old, weighed only 3 kilos and in her adolescence about 9 kilos. Basically, she looked like a human doll and her parents took care of her appearance and as a baby they presented her in circuses and freak shows, attracting the public to admire her for a fee. 

When she grew up she got her own number in the circus, which was called "Princess Pauline". She appeared dressed in well-tailored princely dresses, did acrobatics and danced with the audience. He toured Europe, Belgium, Germany and England. In the photographs of the time, it looks like a doll and is depicted either balancing on a man's palm or standing on furniture. When he turned 18, he went to America and made a great New Year's Eve appearance in a large New York theater.

He became seriously ill and "passed away" at the age of just 19…
In 1895, at the height of her career, she contracted pneumonia and meningitis. She died in New York at the age of 19. She was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest woman ever.
