She adorned the wounds of her double mastectomy with the Wonder Woman symbol

Certainly, it is not uncommon to see a woman with a single or double mastectomy nowadays. But the way everyone treats this painful process as well as breast cancer as a disease as a whole, is what makes the difference and can inspire other women who are going through the same ordeal.

Stephanie Kelly, 42, a mother of four, recently underwent a double mastectomy after testing positive for breast cancer. As she stated in People, the test results were not a surprise to her, since her mother had twice been diagnosed with breast cancer.

When she finished the double mastectomy, Stephanie decided to give another dimension to her wounds, to add color to what reminded her of this painful procedure and so she decided to tattoo Wonder Woman, covering her stitches with the superheroine.
