The models of the new series are now on display in Cypriot stores as well iPhone 13 but also of the young Apple Watch Series 7.
Of the four new models, the top two are the iPhone 13 Pro (6,1 inches) and the iPhone 13 Pro Max (6,7 inches). Compared to the previous generation, the build quality has been further improved, new color versions have been added - such as blue - and are based on Apple's new processor, the A15 Bionic. According to Apple, the performance is much improved compared to the "12" series and far exceeds the competition with the 6-core CPU and 4-core GPU.
A significant improvement is the screen that incorporates ProMotion technology, which enables a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Also, the notch on the top of the screen has been reduced by 20% for a better experience. Also, many improvements have been made to the triple camera system, leading Apple to claim that the new iPhone 13 Pro could still be used to shoot TV series and movies.
The battery capacity has been increased and the iPhone 13 Pro Max offers 2,5 hours more than the previous generation, while in the iPhone 13 Pro the corresponding increase is 1,5 hours.
As for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, they offer better performance thanks to the A15 Bionic, the screen (6,1 inches in the first and 5,4 inches in the second) is brighter (+ 28% compared to the previous generation), while there are several improvements in the dual camera system. Also here the notch at the top of the screen has been reduced by 20%. It should be noted that in the rear system the two lenses are placed diagonally, giving a different feel in terms of design. The new camera offers better photo and video capture even in low light.
Another improvement has to do with the battery. Apple said that the iPhone 13 offers 2,5 hours more than the previous generation, while in the iPhone 13 mini the "increase" reaches 1,5 hours. In addition, there is the smart data mode function where the device uses the 4G network instead of 5G, which is supported by both models.
The prices of the new iPhone 13
Regarding the prices of the new models in the Cypriot market, according to iStorm, the most expensive model reaches the "limit" of 2000 euros. Specifically, the iPhone 13 Pro Max with storage space 1TB Costs €1899. On the other hand, the prices start with the most "economical" iPhone 13 mini with the 5.4-inch screen at € 829 for the basic storage version which is limited to (satisfactory) 128GB.
