Facebook Messenger has an encrypted chat option since 2016 and now you can enter "vanish mode" simply by swiping up a chat in which you are already participating. In this mode, everything you send is encrypted end-to-end and the conversation will be available only on the two devices participating in the conversation, and there is the ability to add a timer to make the text disappear after reading it at a time you will define.

Until now, however, no one has prevented the user from taking a screenshot of the conversation. So Facebook did the best it could immediately, the notification that someone took a screenshot of your conversation.

This was just one of the upgrades that Facebook announced for Messenger. Others include encryption for group chats and calls, while encrypted conversations have been enriched with GIFs, stickers, reactions and the ability to reply with a long press.
