A concert dedicated to Thanos Mikroutsikos entitled "How necessity becomes history" took place on the evening of Thursday, September 20 at the Herodos Atticus Conservatory.

The rock of the Acropolis was filled with iconic songs in poetry by Yiannis Ritsos, Nazim Hikmet, Bertolt Brecht and many others, while renowned artists such as Giorgos Dalaras, Giorgos Kotsiras and Miltos Paschalidis took the stage.

On the morning of Friday, September 20, clips from the concert were shown on the "Buongiorno" show. When Andreas Mikroutsikos and brother of the composer was asked to comment, he could not hold back his tears.

“I started to go to the concert, hid in the rain and came home. I couldn't go to the concert without Thanos," said Andreas Mikroutsikos, visibly moved, with Fai Skordas telling the set to go to commercials.
