The investigator opened the door to get out of the Korydallos prison where Menios Fourthiotis was being held.
By order of the investigator, the pre-trial detention of Fourthiotis was replaced with specific conditions. Specifically, the TV presenter will have to pay a guarantee of 30.000 euros, show up 3 times a month at the police station and will not be allowed to leave the country.
Impressive and perhaps for the first time the term of the ban appears to appear in television programs.
So Fourthiotis was released from the Korydallos prison on Tuesday afternoon after almost five months. He was remanded in custody on May 1.
Menios Fourthiotis was prosecuted for nine offenses (two felonies and seven misdemeanors): incitement to attack on his home on April 16, gang formation, incitement to separate possession of weapons, possession of weapons, confiscation, possession Distinguished damage, attempted extortion and false complaint.
Both of his co-accused have been prosecuted, whom he allegedly knew because they had been employed as his personal escorts and who are accused of attacking his home the same day and shooting at police in New Eritrea. The prosecution against them concerns the formation of a gang, attempted serial murder and synergy in attempted murder, a separate case of possession and carrying of weapons together, continuous use of weapons, explosion, violation of the law on drugs, etc.
Fourthiotis' co-accused had also denied the accusations, citing the location of their mobile phones, which, as they say, show that they were not at the place where the exchange of shots took place. They also insisted that their only relationship with Menios Fourthiotis was that he had hired them as his guard after the decision to withdraw his police escort.
