The Cypriot singer Eleni Menelaou presents her new single titled "For a Helen", a dynamic tsifteteli that combines humor with the courage of a woman who takes her life into her own hands. A piece full of tension, irony and personal stigma.
The song is released from June 18 on all digital platforms, while the official video clip will be available on YouTube:
The story behind the song
The "Eleni" of the song is in love with a man who constantly comes in and out of her life, playing with her emotions. She, tired of the toxicity, decides to put an end to it. But he, arrogant, continues to chase her — like a shadow. Eleni responds to him with lyrics that send a clear message: "War has begun and there will be panic... For a Helen, there will always be damage!"
The song is an inventive parallel to the myth of Troy, dressed in uplifting rhythms and catchy lyrics.

video Clip
The video clip captures the singer's journey – from creation in the studio, to the dance floor, where she sings in front of the audience, while in the same shop... her ex is there. A story that many/many will identify with, with doses of humor and a strong dose of self-confidence.
