Will Smith returned to music after a 12-year absence

With his new song entitled "Get Lit", he returned to Will Smith after 12 years of abstention.

This time, the American actor / rapper is being tested in a different genre, EDM and this is his first single since 2005, when he released the album "Lost and Found".

For "Get Lit" he collaborated again with DJ Jazzy Jeff with whom they formed the hip-hop duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. The new song premiered at the Livewire Music Festival in Blackpool, England, where Will Smith appeared with DJ Jazzy Jeff, according to Rolling Stone.

Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff met in the 1980s and as a duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince won a Grammy for their single "Parents Just Don't Understand". Their last collaboration was in 1998 in "Lovely Daze".

As he revealed, he has recorded about 30 new songs, so the release of another album is not ruled out.
