The song "Shh" that Theo Evan will perform, representing the island at Eurovision 11, was presented on Tuesday (3/2025) through the main news bulletin of the Public Radio and Television of Cyprus (PRC).

In fact, the video clip of the Cypriot participation in this year's European competition was directed by the artist himself in collaboration with Savvas Christou.

Specifically, the Cypriot participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is signed by a team of internationally renowned composers and producers, consisting of Dimitris Kontopoulos, Lasse Nyman, Linda Dale, Elsie Bay and Elke Tiel.

However, Dimitris Kontopoulos has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest many times, while Lasse Nyman and Linda Dale are "hiding" behind the song "The Code", with which Nemo won Eurovision 2024 on behalf of Switzerland. Elsie Bay is also a well-known artist from Norway.

It is noted that two Spaniards have been entrusted with overseeing the song's stage performance at Eurovision 2025 – the director, Sergio Jaen, and the choreographer, Borja Rueda.

It is recalled that Cyprus is competing in the second half of the first semi-final of Eurovision 2025, which is expected to take place on May 13 in Switzerland.

Who represents Cyprus at Eurovision 2025?

Theo Evan (Evangelos Theodorou) has been a singer and dancer since the age of 7 and a songwriter since his teens. Theo Evan's journey to the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will be a new chapter in the story of an artist who has always had a passion for music.

Born in Nicosia, Theo Evan spent his early years taking dance lessons, singing in his school choir and participating in many theatrical performances and talent shows across Cyprus, often winning awards and distinctions for his efforts.

After graduating from The English School in Nicosia, Theo Evan moved to the US to study music and performance at the internationally renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston. He completed his studies with distinction and was a guest of honor at the university's graduation ceremony on three occasions, alongside names such as Missy Elliot, Pharrell Williams, John Legend and Justin Timberlake.

However, Theo Evan released his first single titled “The Wall” in 2021 and since then many songs have followed, inspired by Stromae to Michael Jackson and reggaeton. In fact, Theo Evan also participated as a supporting actor in the hit HBO television series “Euphoria”.
