"Rain" of questions from the defense of Petros Filippidis today at the Mixed Court of Appeals the first woman who had denounced the actor for attempted rape in 2010 at the theater "Moussouri".
The complainant is asked to answer dozens of questions about her attempted rape in the dressing room of the theater. "He fell on me, he was grabbing me, he was trying to kiss me, he was grabbing my chest," repeated the woman, who is also an actress.
In fact, the complainant mentioned at one point in court that her examination by the defense is "an inconvenience" and she will not bear to be examined in another trial.
Her legal representatives, on the other hand, protested in court about the way one of Petros Filippidis' lawyers, Kyriaki Pakirtzidou, is examining the witness. Among other things, they complained about the lawyer's "rudeness" towards their client.
At this point Petros Filippides, who was watching the witness from the bench, stood up and said: "I was in prison for a year for a lady who lied and then I was acquitted. I have not spoken for five years now and the main advocates (s.p. in support of the prosecution) speak for decency and civility. Let these gentlemen remember how they dealt with Elpida Nino when she testified (s.s. in the first instance). It is a shame that they talk about suffering in front of me, because everything they say is a lie. How much longer will I be spoiled?'
In fact, immediately afterwards, Petros Filippidis, clearly irritated, left the courtroom for a while, accompanied by his wife.
Earlier Ms. Pakirtzidou, who along with Michalis Dimitrakopoulos is defending the actor, cited a doctor's "opinion" to refute the complainant's claim that the accused actor was on top of her that day in an attempt to rape her. In short, the advocate, invoking the expert's opinion, wanted to show with her questions that the complainant, who is petite, would not be able to withstand the accused on top of her, without suffering some physical damage.
The examination of the complainant by the advocate continues and indeed in high tones.
