Gerasimos Andreatos got a divorce from his second wife, with the news being confirmed by his lawyer, Vasia Kapernarou. Speaking on the show Super Katerina, she described the divorce as completely civilized and said that the singer and his ex-wife remain in love and focus on the good of their children.
"Absolutely civilized divorce, as befits two people who have lived a lifetime together. They had two children. They created a life of hard work and sacrifice, they still remain loved and will remain because they are fellow travelers and all they care about is the good of their children," he said.
The divorce was consensual and without any disagreement between the two sides, as the lawyer later said. "With a lot of love, with patience we solve our issues. And what is not solved, is cut", he noted. He then confirmed that the two sides maintain excellent relations. Regarding the reason for the divorce, Vasia Kapernarou explained that the children of the former couple have grown up and completed their obligations, as a result of which the spouses realized that they may have had different views and beliefs about their lives. "I think it was one of the most civilized divorces I've been involved in. No disagreement about anything," he said.
This is the second divorce for Gerasimos Andreatos, who remains very cautious about his private life and prefers to keep it out of the public eye. The singer had recently talked about his daughters in an interview with "Athens 9.84". In particular, he had said that they are his priority, while he emphasized that they have a very close relationship.
"It's always my priority. Love reigns in the family it created. Love is synonymous with responsibility. As a father I am by my children's side in all ways and watch them discreetly grow up, become responsible and like flowers fill their environment with beauty and fragrance! We have a very close and meaningful relationship," he had said.
