George Alkaios has been out of the limelight for years and lives permanently in Milos.
There he has built a hotel unit and is now dealing with it permanently.
The singer, who was in his mid-90s after his participation in Eurovision in 2010, did not make any other appearances in Athens.
The last time he spoke publicly was last March when he made a telephone intervention on the radio show of George Tsalikis.

His good friend, Sakis Bousdounis posted a photo of himself on his personal Facebook account a few days ago. Although he does not write exactly when George Alkaios was taken, he looks refreshed and in very good physical condition.
