On the evening of February 25, however, Ioanna Touni confirmed her separation, writing on Instagram: "To put an end to this nonsense... yes, I'm divorced," while later uploading a video on TikTok, where she explains in detail what happened.
In the video she uploaded, she states, among other things, that she has been divorced for a very long time and asks for respect for the child she has with Dimitris Alexandrou. At the same time, she spoke in the best words about her ex-partner, describing him as "perfect" and attributing their separation to "character mismatches."
As she says in detail in the video: "The truth is that I have been separated from Dimitris for a very long time and we are in the process of ending the cohabitation agreement. We separated, divorced, I don't know how you want to put it. I don't want you to send me these messages with "why" and "oh, you should have worked on it", we have been together with Dimitris for 4 years and without exaggeration, we have been working on it for 3. I love him very much, he loves me very much, we have a good relationship and I hope it stays that way and I wish it from the bottom of my heart, I will try very hard and he believes the same. We have a baby, who is wonderful, I don't regret anything with everything I experienced with Dimitris, Paris is the best thing in the world. I want you to respect in turn that there is a child in the middle and not to take things out of your head and mind, I beg you very much, especially the journalists. You understand that a breakup is not pleasant, it was not a choice for me either. Since I was little, what I wanted was to have a beautiful and successful family. Business and the rest came along the way. So yes, for me there is a bitterness that my childhood dream has not developed as I would have liked. I certainly fought it, don't send me messages about how great a couple we were, I know Dimitris is a doll, he is beautiful, I wish him the best from the bottom of my heart. As she had said in a story she posted, she wanted her time to digest what had happened in her relationship and then, she intended to speak openly about what was happening with Dimitris Alexandrou.
In the video she posted, the Instagrammer wrote: "I would kindly ask you, my fellow women, to give me some time. You know how much I hate it when people come out and talk about me and I remain 'silent'. However, I need some time. Thank you for your understanding."
