In a statement by the defendant who Ioanna Touni has reported in the revenge porn case, she herself was mentioned, emphasizing that the person who appears with her in the controversial video and looks at the camera claimed to have a squint.
The influencer uploaded some stories to her personal Instagram account on Monday, January 26, speaking to her online friends about her psychological state, three days after the new adjournment of the trial, which was set for February 20.
Initially, Ioanna Touni said that she had moved away from social media in order to calm down after what happened in the courtroom. As she said characteristically: "I haven't posted stories in the last few days and the truth is that last Friday I had to go to court again, which has generally been very psychologically distressing for me. You just know, whenever I take a break and "fall", I think about the two people who are in court and are watching my profile like black crows with all their own. I think about how much joy and satisfaction they can get from making me fall. And I think "Ioanna, get a grip quickly and let's continue our life right where we left off". Well, whatever happens, I will try to be well and that's what's important and that's what I want for myself for the first time".

At another point in her statements, the influencer mentioned the accused: "Anyway, with all that's happening and given that many people have gone to hurt my morals and you know with all that's happening, on the occasion of something so ugly and abusive, I really wanted to say that it doesn't matter if you've been with one or if you've been with 101 people, as long as you haven't happened to go... Every scoundrel in his own way. Also, I don't know if I commented to you on the following? Because in all this time that I haven't uploaded a story, we haven't happened to talk. It's really driving you crazy. It's really embarrassing to be ashamed. So the accused, with whom I appear in the video, who is looking at the camera, claimed, for the first time now, that he has a squint. He probably didn't see who was filming it and that it was his friend, because he has a squint. So he couldn't have seen. I don't know... Do you know something? "I don't want to talk about it anymore today. This is all very unpleasant to me."
The trial in the case of Ioanna Touni was adjourned until February 20, which continued on Friday, January 23 with the testimony of four witnesses. As it became known, the controversial video was not shown, which will be done at a later session.
