Ioanna Touni appeared emotionally charged after her court victory in the revenge porn case, expressing gratitude for the support she had received throughout this time.
On Wednesday, April 1, the Three-Member Criminal Appeals Court of Thessaloniki found the two defendants guilty in the revenge porn case involving the influencer. Her ex-partner was sentenced to four years in prison, while the second defendant was sentenced to three years suspended.
On Friday, Ioanna Touni took to Instagram stories to share her feelings after the verdict that vindicated her in the legal battle she has waged over the past few years. Among other things, she stated that she feels that "for the first time, shame is changing sides."
At the same time, through the video that the influencer made, she sent a message of support to women who are experiencing similar situations, emphasizing that after her own victory, there is hope for vindication for similar incidents. As she initially said: "Good morning everyone. First story from my living room and I think it's a calm morning, because now things have taken the path they should have for a long time. We won! I say it and I'm still emotional. I feel great. It's hard to realize in two days that everything you've been waiting for for years has really happened."
At another point, he added: "I believe that now there will be more information about what a victim experiences when their personality and most sensitive data are violated in such a cruel way. I have received great support from all of you and I thank you. For the first time, shame is changing sides and we achieved this together. These acts are criminal and there should be no tolerance."

As for the perpetrators' guilt, she commented: "The court ended and the word 'guilty' was heard for a felony for the two defendants, exactly as I expected and wanted. I am not crying out of sadness, it will pass. This victory is no longer a personal matter, but a great battle won for all women."
Finally, Ioanna Touni emphasized about the two defendants and the case that began in 2017: "Justice has spoken and things have come to an end. The two people who seemed cool in 2017, now in 2026, were found guilty of a felony and are facing their actions. I hope my experience sends a strong message about protecting women from people who believe they can destroy lives. I hope you feel safer and if I contributed even a little to that, I am happy. The hardest part is over, and now I can calm down and enjoy the beautiful things happening in my life. Thank you for all the messages of support until the end."
The two defendants in the revenge porn case involving Ioanna Touni were found guilty. More specifically, her ex-partner was sentenced to four years in prison, while the second defendant was sentenced to three years with a suspended sentence, in which the mitigating factor of previous cohabitation was recognized. The court decided that the defendants' appeal would have a suspensive effect on the execution of their sentences. The prosecutor proposed their guilt, emphasizing that they possessed and disseminated Ioanna Touni's personal data, without her consent, with the aim of brutally insulting her personality. The video was allegedly shot in 2017 and circulated on the internet years later, causing a huge wave of publicity and moral damage to her.
