Katerina Kakosaiou was asked about her father, Yiannis Ploutarchou's, reaction when she decided to become a singer. As she said, he was not surprised by the professional path that she and her brother followed, since both of them showed their love for singing from a very young age. It was therefore inevitable, Katerina Kakosaiou emphasized, that they would pursue a career in the music scene.
Katerina Kakosaiou was a guest on a show on Kosmoradio 95,1 and, among other things, she said: "My father expected me to become a singer. He knew it inside him, because we sang from a very young age. It was inevitable that we would get involved in singing. He is anxious because he knows the job. So he told us that 'if this is what you think you want to do, I am with you' and if he also decided that it was worth all this, he would be by our side until the end."

At another point in the interview, she commented on the reports that want her to get married. "You won't eat any candy yet, that's the strangest thing. Let's say, when they mention singers' personal lives, I see for everyone "he's in a relationship with him", "he and he". Why do I go straight to... marriage, I don't understand! The first time it happened, it bothered me, because it wasn't true and I suddenly felt that everywhere it had come out that I was married and I was still 22 years old. So it was very wrong in my head at the time, very foreign", she commented.
Regarding her diagnosis with ADHD and the difficulties she faced during her school years, she pointed out: "I have ADHD to a large extent. I definitely can't concentrate and I'm often abstract. Okay, a little dyslexia, a little bit of reading a text and not understanding it. Where it seemed like a mountain to me was in the early years of school when the lessons started to get difficult."
