Matthew Milder: 19-year-old Hollywood actor commits suicide with sodium nitrate

Matthew Middler, the actor who was a child prodigy in Hollywood, committed suicide using sodium nitrate, which he ordered online for $ 15.

The 19-year-old, before buying it, sought instructions on how to use it in suicide, according to his mother.
According to TMZ, after toxicological examinations, the forensic office ruled that the death of the actor who had become known from "Our Idiot Brother" was due to suicide.

Sodium nitrate, often used to preserve food, leads to death by causing low blood pressure and restricting the flow of oxygen to the body.

Middler's mother confirmed to TMZ that her son bought the substance online to commit suicide in the early days away from home at Millersville University in Pennsylvania.

Monica Middler, who has previously revealed that her son was suffering from anxiety, said she discovered a link to her son's internet search history.

The actor was looking for information on how to get sodium nitrate and use it to end his life painlessly, explained his mother, who had no idea in advance that her son was planning to commit suicide.

She said she spoke openly about the issue, hoping it would serve as a warning to other families who may not be aware of the dangers of the seemingly harmless substance. The actor allegedly bought the substance from Amazon, which did not respond to requests for comment.
