Shakira's new song, with "shots" at her ex-partner, Gerard Pique, is sweeping YouTube.

"BZRP Music Session #53" surpassed 63,5 million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours. This is the most that a new Latin American song has "recorded" in the history of the platform, according to the Guardian.

Shakira and Gerard Pique split last year after more than a decade of dating, during which they had two children together. The 35-year-old former footballer is now in a relationship with 23-year-old Clara Chia.

In her new song, Shakira collaborated with Argentinian producer and DJ Bizarrap.

"I deserve two 22-year-olds. You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo/You, a Rolex for a Casio,” sings the Colombian star.

"A she-wolf like me ain't for rookies..." the lyrics say at another point. "I had a crush on you, that's why you're with someone just like you," Shakira continues.

In addition to Pique and his new partner, the lyrics refer to the singer's ex-mother-in-law, the media, and the adventures the star has with the Spanish tax authorities, who accuse her of not paying taxes of 14,5 million euros.

"You left me with my mother-in-law next door, the press at my door and a debt to the IRS," Shakira sings in her new song.

Spanish prosecutors say the family lived in Barcelona from 2012 to 2014, meaning the singer should have paid taxes in Spain on her worldwide income during that time. They have asked for 8 years in prison and a fine of more than 23 million for Shakira, who denies the charges.

It's like another song

Thanks to its lyrics, Shakira's new song has caught the attention of media around the world. But it also caused the reaction of the singer from Venezuela, Briella.

In posts on social media, Briella said that Shakira's song is similar to "Solo Tú", a single she released last June.

"Does Shakira's song sound similar to Solo Tú to you?" she wrote on Twitter and asked her followers for their opinion comparing the two songs.
