So wrap it well with cling film and just put it in the freezer. This also applies to the bread you bought from the oven.

To thaw it, you can splash it with a little water and put it in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can take it out of the freezer the night before and put it in the fridge.
