Within twenty days, Marialena Roumelioti revealed that she had organized her wedding with Sakis Katsoulis, stating that they made the decision to get married as soon as they were informed that she was pregnant.
The couple held their wedding on January 25, with the former "Survivor" contestant noting through a Q&A she made on her personal Instagram account that they had originally planned to get married in Lake Doxa, but a last-minute change was the reason the wedding took place in Athens.
When asked about "how long she had been preparing for her wedding," Marialena Roumelioti replied: "We organized the wedding within 20 days. As soon as we found out that I was pregnant, we decided to get married before our baby was born. It was supposed to be at Limni Doxa, but while everything was ready, something happened at the last minute with the chapel and suddenly we found ourselves organizing a wedding in Athens."
