George Mazonakis was one of the main protagonists of this year's MadWalk, taking to the stage in a frock and performing Savvopoulos, in an act that evolved into a moving tribute to the great creator who passed away on October 21.
The singer presented a special version of "Thalassografia", with the audience watching a pop-fashion moment with a strong Greek color.
The concept of the appearance was entirely based on traditional clothing: Mazonakis on stage in a foustanella and at his side models dressed in impressive traditional costumes, who "walked" on the catwalk, transforming MadWalk into a subversive catwalk of Greek tradition.
The direction and costumes were designed to "tie" the tribute to Dionysis Savvopoulos with the fashion character of the event.
Giorgos Mazonakis' performance was praised by the audience with loud applause, while his tribute to Dionysis Savvopoulos is already among the most characteristic and discussed moments of MadWalk 2025.
